Project Control Manager

Role Overview

Nova International General Contracting seeks a senior Project Control Manager to lead planning, scheduling, cost control, and performance management for a major luxury residential development in the UAE.

Role Purpose

The Project Control Manager is central to ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery through accurate schedules, disciplined cost control, and clear visibility of project risks and progress. This role coordinates closely with planning, procurement, commercial, engineering, finance, and site teams to maintain strong control systems and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and Scheduling

• Lead all project control functions including planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, and performance tracking.
• Develop and maintain baseline schedules and manage schedule updates using Primavera P6.
• Identify delays and procurement bottlenecks early with recommended actions.

Cost Control and Forecasting

• Monitor project costs, commitments, and cost-to-complete forecasts.
• Support tendering, estimation, and cost benchmarking.
• Review subcontractor proposals, schedule impacts, and cost data.

Reporting and Progress Management

• Provide integrated reporting on physical and financial progress.
• Prepare dashboards, progress reports, and executive summaries for leadership.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate with procurement, QS, engineering, and finance teams to align schedules and budgets.
• Lead and guide project-level planning and control teams.

Risk and Performance Management

• Identify risks and cost overruns early with recommended actions.

Qualifications & Experience

• 15–20 years of experience in project controls within the construction industry.
• Strong background in large-scale residential projects (villa compounds or high-rise).
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (preferred) or equivalent; architectural background acceptable.
• UAE experience strongly preferred (KSA also acceptable).
• Professional certifications such as PMP or CCP are an advantage, not mandatory.

• Deep expertise in Primavera P6 scheduling and forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, delay analysis, and risk management.
• Proficient in ERP and project control systems and advanced reporting tools.

• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
