  • Serve as a critical bridge between McDonough's global hubs and faculty, who are largely based in Washington, DC.

Events and International Modules

  • Plan and execute program-related events, residencies, and international modules, including logistics in Greece and abroad.
  • Extend operational effort to off-site activities in Athens, Greece, as well as international components such as residencies or modules held abroad.

Faculty and Academic Support

  • Provide operational and administrative support to faculty, including classroom readiness.
  • Maintain regular communication and collaboration with seasoned faculty across different time zones.

Admissions and Business Development

  • Support operations, admissions, and business development by coordinating meetings, managing logistics, and liaising with corporate partners and vendors.
  • Provide administrative support for admissions and business development efforts and associated staff in Athens and the region.
  • Help arrange meetings between sponsor company representatives and Georgetown staff responsible for recruiting and business development.

Additional Operations

  • Travel and support program operations in Dubai, UAE – where McDonough maintains a branch campus – for any degree, custom program, or short executive education courses that may arise.

Qualifications & Experience

  • BA/BS required.
  • Professionals with 6 or more years of experience in operations/program/events management.
  • Prior experience in higher education or a customer-centric industry (e.g. hospitality, retail, etc.) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the educational landscape in Greece or the Southeastern European region is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Ability to work well with mid- to senior-level executives and faculty members.
  • Fluency in Greek and English is required.
  • Capable of working efficiently with Canvas, Microsoft Office Suite (especially MS Excel), and the Google Suite of software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt and work well in a small, dynamic team and startup environment.
  • Ability to bring a fresh and entrepreneurial perspective, creating enthusiasm around a shared vision for operational efficiency and customer service.
