Professional Services Consultant - Saudi Arabia

Role Overview

Professional Services Consultant at Fortinet in Saudi Arabia. The role combines remote and onsite engagement, focusing on medium-to-high complexity client and partner projects.

Role Purpose

Deliver implementation and optimization of Fortinet firewall and enhanced security products to clients and partners. The consultant drives project success through structured technical approaches, clear stakeholder communication, and comprehensive knowledge transfer while managing project documentation and risk.

Key Responsibilities

Project Scoping & Design

• Develop a clear overall understanding of customer engagement objectives, project scope, business and technical requirements.
• Participate in architecture design workshops with customers and partners, providing expert input.
• Develop project-related documents with required technical architecture diagrams, including High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, Migration Plan, Test Plan, Methods of Procedures, Network Implementation Plan, As-Built guide, and related documentation.
• Participate in scoping meetings and provide input on statements of work development based on accurate analysis of customer requirements.

Deployment & Operations

• Perform deployment, configuration, testing and troubleshooting of Fortinet security solutions in customer environments.
• Assist customers through rollout, migration or go-live phases for deployed security solutions.
• Resolve and escalate issues in a timely fashion.
• Minimize Fortinet's exposure and risk on projects.

Knowledge & Documentation

• Perform knowledge transfer sessions for customer staff on relevant Fortinet security solutions.
• Ensure that project documents are accurate, complete, current and stored appropriately.
• Continuously develop knowledge and skills to remain proficient with relevant Fortinet technologies, products and services through self-study materials and training as required.

Administrative & Reporting

• Complete and submit internal required administrative tasks including timesheets, activities reports, and project reports.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in technical or management discipline and/or equivalent extensive work-related experience.
• 6+ years' experience in LAN/WAN/Internet consulting, support and/or administration.
• 3+ years' experience with Network Security Products.
• Experience working as a Professional Services senior consultant or engineer is a plus.
• Expertise in NGFW and at least 2 of the following technologies: Email Security, Advanced Threat Protection, Endpoint Security, Application Security, Web Application Firewall, Network Security Management, SIEM, Network Virtualization, Software Defined Networks (SDN) and/or other cloud-based security technologies.
