Role Overview
Product Management Analyst at Citi, located in the UAE. This is an entry-level position. UAE Nationals only.
Role Purpose
Assist in the development of product plans, strategies, and tactics in coordination with the Product Management team. The overall objective is to coordinate the promotion of products to develop new markets, increase market share, and obtain competitive position.
Key Responsibilities
Product Development & Strategy
- Participate in creation and implementation of product roadmaps, product launches, and product marketing to gain maximum benefit from each product
- Assist in executing client value propositions, positioning, segmentation, pricing, targeting, channel strategies, and competitive differentiation to achieve preferred status as a partner to Citi clients
- Assist in client and competitor market research, developing product innovation roadmap, and addressing fundamental trials of product commoditization to create an advanced set of solutions
Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence
- Review, survey, and analyze competitive industry landscape to identify relative trends, threats, and opportunities for product managers
Operations & Client Management
- Participate in day-to-day product management for core products such as product delivery, client experience, and client communication strategies
- Implement team procedures, client problem resolution, and client management
Financial Performance & Goals
- Contribute to achievement of acquisition targets, product financial performance, revenue performance, and expense management goals
Risk & Compliance
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets
- Drive compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations
- Adhere to Policy and apply sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices
- Escalate, manage and report control issues with transparency
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or University degree or equivalent experience
- Relevant experience preferred
- Knowledge of marketing, credit, acquisitions, product development, and/or analytics
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to work unsupervised and adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication
