Procurement Specialist

Role Overview

Procurement Specialist at Aofgroup, responsible for managing the procurement process to ensure timely acquisition of goods and services at the best value while maintaining quality and supplier relationships.

Role Purpose

Manage end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with internal departments to support operational needs and secure cost-effective, quality goods and services.

Key Responsibilities

Supplier Management

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to secure cost-effective and quality procurement.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with vendors to achieve optimal agreements.
• Support supplier relationship management and resolve any procurement issues.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify improvement opportunities.

Procurement Operations

• Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements and priorities.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist or in procurement and purchasing roles.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier evaluation.
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
