Procurement Engineer

Role Overview

Procurement Engineer at White Spot Facilities Management. The role manages sourcing, purchasing, and supplier coordination for FM projects and operations.

Role Purpose

To source, procure, and manage FM-related materials, equipment, tools, and services while ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery across facilities management projects and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Procurement

• Source and procure FM-related materials, equipment, tools, and services.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Support tendering and subcontractor evaluation processes when required.

Vendor & Supplier Management

• Develop and maintain relationships with approved vendors and suppliers.
• Negotiate prices, delivery terms, and contracts to achieve cost savings.
• Monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules.

Operations & Coordination

• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance, and Project teams to understand procurement requirements.
• Track inventory levels and support stock replenishment planning.

Administration & Compliance

• Prepare purchase orders and monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and budget requirements.
• Maintain procurement records, reports, and vendor documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 2–3 years of procurement experience within the Facilities Management industry.
• Knowledge of MEP, HVAC, Civil, and FM maintenance materials.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and cost-control skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/Procurement systems.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
