Role Overview
Principal Backend Development Engineer (C++) at Bybit, a leading cryptocurrency exchange and digital financial platform headquartered globally.

Role Purpose
Design, develop, and optimize the backend system of the trading core infrastructure. Lead system maintenance and upgrades to meet the demands of high concurrency, stability, and low latency, while driving cutting-edge technology adoption and platform architecture evolution.
Key Responsibilities
System Design & Development
- Own the design and development of the backend system of the trading core system.
- Conduct system analysis and design with expertise in code refactoring.
Operations & Optimization
- Manage system maintenance, upgrade, and optimization.
- Overcome technical difficulties brought by high concurrency, stability, and low latency requirements.
- Perform performance tuning in large-scale distributed systems.
Business & Architecture
- Demonstrate strong business sense and participate in business design.
- Propose feasible and constructive solutions aligned with business objectives.
- Independently write relevant technical documents.
- Lead large-scale project foundation and application architecture design.
Technology Strategy
- Participate in research and practice of cutting-edge technologies.
- Promote and plan the future technology architecture direction of the platform.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above, major in computer science.
- Solid C++ foundation with familiarity in folly, boost, and other open source libraries.
- Experience studying excellent open source component source code preferred.
- Experience with full stack technical expertise, trading system construction, or memory system construction is a bonus.
Skills & Competencies
- Proficiency in NoSQL cache, message queue, and search engines including Redis, Kafka, and Elasticsearch.
- Skilled system analysis and design capabilities.
- Experience with distributed systems featuring high traffic, high concurrency, and high performance.
- Expertise in performance tuning preferred.
