Pricing Specialist – Project & Breakbulk

Role Overview

Pricing Specialist – Project & Breakbulk at GAC, based in Dammam.

Role Purpose

Play a key role in competitive pricing and profitable logistics solutions for project cargo, breakbulk and heavy-lift shipments across Saudi Arabia. Work closely with customers, carriers and operations teams to drive commercial growth through tailored transport solutions and effective cost management.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Proposals & Bidding

• Prepare and submit competitive commercial proposals in response to RFQs, tenders and strategic business opportunities.
• Work on RFQs, tenders and strategic customer bids with commercially viable pricing proposals.

Solutions Development

• Develop end-to-end logistics solutions covering air, sea, land and port operations.
• Coordinate with operations teams to ensure offered solutions are operationally feasible and efficient.

Pricing & Cost Management

• Negotiate rates and commercial terms with shipping lines, transport providers, heavy lift operators and subcontractors.
• Conduct cost analysis to ensure profitability and margin control.
• Maintain pricing databases.
• Monitor and update market trends and freight rates.

Stakeholder Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers, transport companies and service providers.
• Ensure timely responses to customer enquiries as per set KPIs and business opportunities.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly reports and analysis based on quoted, secured and lost business.
