Pricing Controller - Ancillary Fare Filing (ATPCO)

Role Overview

Pricing Controller - Ancillary Fare Filing at Etihad Airways, based in Abu Dhabi. This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing and reporting on competitor trends to support revenue maximization strategy and market positioning, and for managing the implementation of Etihad rules and ancillary pricing across distribution channels.

Role Purpose

To be accountable for the implementation of Etihad rules and ancillary pricing in relevant distribution channels, and to manage and lead processes and guidelines related to ancillary implementation and coding in various systems while supporting strategic revenue management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Management and Competitor Analysis

• Monitor and track competitor revenue management and distribution strategies to identify potential opportunities and improvements.
• Recommend corrective actions in a timely manner based on competitor analysis.
• Collect, analyze and report on competitor trends to support definition of the best strategy to maximize revenues and improve market positioning.

Ancillary Filing and Distribution

• Manage the accurate and timely delivery of all rules and ancillaries in various distribution systems.
• Lead multiple cross-functional projects from pricing and ancillary perspective where strategic pricing is a key stakeholder.
• Assist and support in completing necessary ancillary testing and checks in different channels and tools.

Channel Management and Conflict Resolution

• Investigate and solve potential channel conflict by conducting necessary checks and validation.
• Manage workflow between different teams within the Revenue Management team to ensure activities are delivered as per agreed SLAs.

Technical Support and System Management

• Provide technical expertise to achieve the end goal of projects related to Revenue Management and Ancillary department.
• Benchmark information in revenue management systems and database to ensure they are accurately updated.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in any field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience, with a minimum of 2–3 years of ancillary filing in ATPCO.
• Fare and ancillary coding knowledge is a must.
• Other system knowledge is an advantage.
