Role Overview
Wood PLC is recruiting a PMC Lead Planning & Cost Control Engineer to support the ADNOC Offshore project in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The position will be based at the client office in Abu Dhabi.

Role Purpose
To lead planning and cost control activities for the ADNOC Offshore project by developing contractual requirements, evaluating bids and claims, coordinating with project control managers, and ensuring compliance with project control procedures and cost accounting standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Contract and Tender Management
- Develop contractual requirements relating to cost control, estimation, invoicing of payment and variations to be stipulated in Agreements (FEED, PMC, EPC etc.) and incorporate them into tender documents and agreements.
- Evaluate technical bids (PMC, FEED and EPC) to ascertain compliance to specified requirements and provide clarifications to bidders.
- Prepare relevant portion of the Technical Evaluation Report and finalize the relevant portion of contract documents after incorporating all bulletins issued and clarifications received during the tender stage.
Cost Control and Estimation
- Evaluate Variation requests and claims by contractors and conduct in-depth analysis of all cost-related submittals from consultants.
- Prepare counter estimates taking into consideration contractual schedule of unit rates for variation and make appropriate recommendations to management for approval.
- Prepare AFE/AFOU for all ongoing projects for management approval.
- Ensure charges of costs are allocated to correct account codes.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with the Project Control Managers of all Project Management Consultants (PMC) to ensure adherence to Project Control Procedures and other requirements throughout the project duration to achieve successful project implementation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor of Engineering in related discipline.
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Oil and Gas industry.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in similar role.
- ADNOC projects experience is mandatory.
- Experience on Offshore Projects.
