Role Purpose

The Plumber Technician performs all plumbing and building maintenance activities in accordance with safety regulations, client procedures, and applicable industry standards while maintaining high-quality workmanship and minimizing system downtime.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repair

• Perform plumbing repairs and requests.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and general maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems and HVAC systems.
• Perform minor repair and maintenance as per tenant requests.

Customer Service & Compliance

• Provide excellent customer service to tenants.
• Comply with all Occupational Health and Safety legislation, guidelines, standards, policies, procedures and practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Red Seal Journeyman certificate in Plumbing is required.
• Power Engineering Certificate and experience would be considered an asset.
• Working knowledge of environmental, mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems for office and warehouse facilities, including BAS systems.

Skills & Competencies

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
• Ability to make effective technical decisions in emergency situations.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Highly motivated with a strong customer service focus.

• Must be willing and able to work after hours and weekends as required and to be available for standby rotation to respond to after-hours service requests.
