Role Overview

Plumber at Hilton, maintaining critical plumbing systems and responding to maintenance needs across hotel facilities to ensure guest comfort, safety, and operational continuity.

Role Purpose

To maintain the hotel's plumbing infrastructure and respond promptly to service requests, ensuring reliable water supply, drainage, and fixture operation throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities while minimizing disruption and supporting exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Operations

• Maintain plumbing systems to ensure proper operation of water supply, drainage, sewerage, hot water, and plumbing fixtures throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections to regularly assess plumbing systems and equipment, identify potential issues, improve reliability, and prevent unexpected breakdowns.
• Document maintenance activities by accurately recording inspections, repairs, and maintenance work completed.

Repair & Installation

• Perform plumbing repairs and installations by diagnosing and repairing leaks, blocked drains, faulty fixtures, pumps, valves, pipework, and other plumbing equipment.
• Assist with plumbing installations and upgrades as required.

Guest & Team Support

• Respond to service requests by promptly addressing guest and team member plumbing-related maintenance requests, minimizing disruption and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Support hotel operations by working collaboratively with the Engineering and Maintenance team to maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for guests and team members.

Reporting

• Report any issues requiring additional attention or specialist support.
