PLC Programmer / Automation Engineer (CODESYS Expert) at Sunreef Yachts.

Role Purpose

Develop, test, and maintain advanced PLC applications using CODESYS V3.x to design scalable and modular automation architectures for real-time control systems operating across industrial communication protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Architecture

• Develop, test, and maintain PLC applications using CODESYS V3.x platform.
• Design software architecture using FB, FBD, ST, LD, and SFC.
• Create reusable and modular CODESYS libraries and custom function blocks.
• Implement OOP concepts including interfaces, inheritance, and encapsulation.

Configuration & Execution

• Configure task scheduling and real-time execution.
• Perform I/O mapping and device configuration.
• Manage version control and libraries.

Integration & Protocols

• Integrate systems via APIs and industrial protocols.
• Support commissioning and troubleshooting.

Testing & Optimization

• Debug using monitoring, breakpoints, and trace tools.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven expertise in CODESYS-based development environments.
• Demonstrated experience in IEC 61131-3 programming.
• Background in real-time control systems and industrial communication protocols.
