Role Overview

Planning Engineer - Mechanical - PRIMAVERA, supporting Oil & Gas industry projects at ABIS.

Role Purpose

Prepare, monitor, and update project schedules using PRIMAVERA software to ensure timely execution and coordination among engineering, procurement, and construction departments.

Key Responsibilities

Schedule Management

• Prepare detailed project schedules using PRIMAVERA P6 software.
• Monitor and update project schedules to reflect current progress and changes.
• Analyze complex schedules and recommend mitigation actions for risks or delays.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Interface with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to develop detailed work plans.
• Coordinate across various departments to ensure schedule alignment and execution.

Risk Management & Reporting

• Identify potential schedule risks and delays.
• Assist in progress reporting and schedule analysis to support effective decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project planning within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience with Shutdown / Turnaround projects.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco or similar oil & gas clients is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficient in PRIMAVERA P6 software.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering design and construction processes.
• Ability to analyze complex schedules.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong teamwork skills.
