Role Overview

Physiotherapist at ALMOOSA HEALTH GROUP.

Role Purpose

Provide personalized, coordinated care, support, and treatment for patients and families across a range of physical conditions, including neurological, neuromusculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and respiratory disorders. Work with patients over periods of weeks to assess, treat, and rehabilitate their conditions while promoting recovery through education and optimal support.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care & Treatment

• Provide personalized coordinated care, support, and treatment for patients and families.
• Treat people with dignity, compassion, and respect.
• Assess and treat patients' physical problems and conditions.
• Work with patients who have a range of conditions, including neurological, neuromusculoskeletal, cardiovascular, and respiratory conditions.

Treatment Planning & Development

• Develop and review treatment programs that encourage exercise and movement using a range of techniques.
• Involve parents and caregivers in the treatment, review, and rehabilitation of patients.

Education & Support

• Provide patients, families, and caregivers with education and resources for offering optimal support to promote recovery.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about how to prevent and improve conditions.

Documentation & Reporting

• Write patient case notes and reports.
• Collect statistics.

Collaboration & Communication

• Liaise with other healthcare professionals to exchange information about the background and progress of patients.
• Refer patients who require other medical attention.
• Build rapport with patients from a variety of backgrounds and communicate with their relatives.

Organizational & Compliance

• Attend monthly meetings.
• Follow hospital policies.
• Respect infection control measures in the department.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Physiotherapist.
