Role Purpose

To design, develop, and execute comprehensive performance testing strategies and test scripts that validate application behavior, scalability, and reliability under varying load conditions across enterprise systems and distributed applications.

Key Responsibilities

Testing Strategy & Analysis

• Analyze application architecture, business requirements, and production usage patterns to define appropriate performance testing strategies and workload models.

Test Design & Execution

• Design and execute baseline, load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability tests.
• Create realistic workloads covering different user journeys, transaction volumes, concurrency levels, and business scenarios.
• Execute tests with different load profiles and analyze application behavior under varying levels of concurrency.

Test Script Development

• Develop, enhance, and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.
• Implement parameterization, correlation, assertions, timers, controllers, pre-processors, and post-processors in JMeter.
• Perform JMeter scripting, correlation, parameterization, assertions, timers, and controllers.

Application Testing Coverage

• Perform performance testing for web applications, REST/SOAP APIs, and distributed applications.

Qualifications & Experience

• 4+ years of experience in Performance Testing.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Apache JMeter.
• Strong understanding of Load/Stress/Endurance/Spike testing.
• Experience with JMeter scripting, correlation, parameterization, assertions, timers, and controllers.

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, JSON/XML, authentication, cookies, and sessions.
