PCST - Process System Control Technician ( Oil & Gas / Relevant )

Role Overview

ABIS is seeking a Process System Control Technician (PCST) with experience in Oil & Gas or relevant industries. The role is based with ABIS.

Role Purpose

To operate, maintain, and troubleshoot process control systems ensuring seamless production and safety compliance. You will support system functionality and optimize operational efficiency through regular inspections, calibrations, and repairs of control instruments and devices.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance

• Operate and maintain process control systems and related instrumentation.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of process control equipment.
• Perform troubleshooting and calibration of control devices to ensure accurate operation.

System Support & Upgrades

• Assist in system upgrades and commissioning activities.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to enhance system performance.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Document maintenance activities and report any system anomalies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Relevant experience in Oil & Gas or similar industries.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficient in process control systems and instrumentation maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with safety regulations and industry standards.
