Operations Supervisor

Role Overview

Operations Supervisor at Al Tayer Group. The role coordinates with and supports rental agents to meet customer needs and ensure smooth operations of the branches and counters of NCR.

Role Purpose

Oversee the operational performance of rental branches, manage fleet allocation and maintenance, ensure rental documentation compliance, monitor service requirements, and resolve customer grievances while guiding and motivating the team to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Fleet Management

• Oversee the operations of branches.
• Ensure adequate resources with respect to manpower, vehicles, and infrastructure are planned and provided to meet business needs.
• Control the fleet movement activity and allocate vehicles to branches based on requirements.
• Monitor the service requirements of vehicles and liaise with the maintenance department for service and maintenance.
• Monitor monthly rentals and arrange for payments from the accounts department.

Documentation & Compliance

• Check the rental agreements received from the branches.
• Ensure all relevant documentation is completed and forwarded to the accounts department.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate with rental agents to ensure all prior reservations are carried out.
• Resolve customer grievances and manage their expectations within the company's parameters.

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales activity, vehicle utilization, and maintenance status of the fleet.
• Provide recommendations to meet business requirements.

People Management

• Guide and motivate subordinates to enhance performance and produce quality work.
• Ensure that subordinates are continuously developed for higher-level roles.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in any discipline.
• Five to seven years of experience in a car rental environment.
