Role Overview

Odoo Front-End Developer at Squadio. The position is based at the company's location, supporting front-end development within the Odoo ecosystem.

Role Purpose

Design, develop, and customize front-end themes and modules within Odoo to meet business requirements while collaborating across functional, back-end, and project management teams. Build responsive, performant, and secure user interfaces aligned with UX/UI best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development

• Design, develop, and customize front-end themes and modules to align with business requirements.
• Implement responsive and dynamic user interfaces with strong attention to UX/UI best practices.
• Customize QWeb and Dynamic reports in Odoo 18 enterprise.
• Develop custom widgets using the latest Odoo framework.

Collaboration & Integration

• Collaborate with functional consultants, back-end developers, and project managers during the Odoo upgrade process.

Performance & Optimization

• Optimize web applications for performance, security, and scalability.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.

Troubleshooting & Support

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve front-end issues efficiently.

Professional Development

• Stay up to date with latest Odoo Enterprise features and emerging front-end technologies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4–5 years of proven experience in Odoo front-end development.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, OWL (Odoo Web Library), and latest Odoo library.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, AJAX, and asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Experience in UI/UX principles and building user-friendly interfaces.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
