Role Purpose
As the OCN/LN Monitor (Escort), you will escort un-cleared personnel into areas and monitor un-cleared personnel while performing work. You will log in and out all LN/OCN contractors and count personnel before and after they perform duties, and notify appropriate personnel of how many people and vehicles are being escorted.
Key Responsibilities
Personnel Escort & Monitoring
- Perform a wide range of Local National/Other Country National (LN/OCN) escorting coverage.
- Make contact with LN/OCN personnel at designated entry facility after they are processed for entry and receive their exchange badges.
- Provide and brief LN/OCN personnel on rules and procedures.
- Escort LN/OCN personnel until daily work is completed, the work zone has been purged by trained Force Protection military personnel, and all LNs/OCNs have exited base and/or returned to camps.
- Log in and out all LN/OCN contractors and count personnel before and after they perform duties.
- Maintain sight of all vehicles and personnel when performing LN/OCN escort duties.
Security & Compliance
- Ensure LN/OCNs do not bring onto the base any prohibited or contraband items, including weapons, drugs, and other restricted materials.
- Maintain an alert state of readiness and be prepared to properly respond to any situation that may occur.
- Alert appropriate personnel of any suspicious behaviors or comments of LN/OCNs.
- Notify Project/Site Manager and Safety staff as soon as possible of unsafe working conditions.
Safety & Welfare
- Provide for safety and welfare of oneself and escorted personnel, including evacuating to protective shelter in case of attack.
- Ensure proper housekeeping practices are strictly adhered to.
General Duties
- Notify appropriate personnel of how many people and vehicles are being escorted.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Experience
- US Citizenship required.
- Valid US Passport (preferred).
- Valid US Driver's License with good driving report.
- Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD EIGHTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa at host nation.
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
- Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather, and hazardous conditions.
