Role Purpose
Lead and manage multifunctional software delivery teams in a Mendix environment, overseeing end-to-end project execution, resource allocation, team development, and the successful delivery of multiple concurrent projects while maintaining quality and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Delivery Management
- Deliver multiple software projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and timelines.
- Own end-to-end software delivery project execution.
- Manage efforts sizing and estimations for all aspects of software delivery projects.
- Efficiently distribute workloads and allocate resources across teams.
- Ensure familiarity with software product development life cycles.
Team Leadership
- Lead multifunctional teams including Development, Quality, Business Analysts, and Technical Writers.
- Manage multinational teams and oversee hiring and training of new team members.
- Apply people management skills to build high-performing teams.
- Implement hiring and training best practices.
Technical Leadership
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of integration techniques and protocols.
- Apply understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native environments.
- Apply knowledge of architecture patterns and different deployment options.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Deliver excellent communication and presentation skills to stakeholders.
- Facilitate technical discussions and ensure clear documentation through technical writing in English.
- Combine project management skills with people management capabilities.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Management Information Systems.
- Minimum 10 years of technology development experience.
- Minimum 4 years in Mendix delivery management roles.
- Extensive experience in end-to-end software delivery projects.
- Master's degree in a relevant field (will reduce experience requirements).
- Familiarity with specific technology courses relevant to the types of projects performed.
