Role Purpose

To oversee the operation, maintenance, repair, and emergency response for critical plumbing, drainage, and pumping infrastructure serving government and private sector clients across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities

Plumbing & Drainage Pump Stations

• Oversee the operation of sewage, stormwater, and drainage pumping stations.
• Manage routine servicing and repair of submersible pumps, lift stations, float switches, and control panels.

HDPE Pipeline Management

• Manage the installation, repair, and modification of High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) lines.
• Execute electrofusion and butt-fusion welding procedures.

Valves & Flow Control

• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot heavy-duty industrial valves including gate, globe, check, pressure-reducing, and motorized control valves.

Breakdown & Corrective Action

• Respond swiftly to equipment malfunctions and diagnose root causes.
• Coordinate emergency repairs or component replacements.

Rotating & Static Equipment Care

• Maintain heavy-duty industrial assets including centrifugal pumps and dewatering pumps.

Maintenance Planning & CMMS

• Schedule and track all work orders using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Manage spare parts inventory for critical infrastructure.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years of professional experience.
• UAE driving license.
• Familiarity with NFPA standards, especially NFPA 20, 13, and 24.
• Knowledge of local plumbing and safety codes.
• Hands-on experience with HDPE fusion techniques, commercial pump mechanics, and industrial valve servicing.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
• Proficiency in reading technical blueprints, P&IDs, and mechanical schematics.
• Leadership capability to supervise technicians and contractors.
• Cross-functional communication skills.
• Problem-solving ability under pressure.
