Role Purpose
To lead mechanical engineering and construction management activities on complex offshore Oil & Gas projects, with a focus on brownfield modifications, SIMOPS execution, and multi-discipline construction coordination in compliance with ADNOC standards and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Offshore Construction Management
- Lead offshore platform construction activities and live facility modifications.
- Manage complex brownfield construction projects under schedule pressure.
- Execute SIMOPS (Simultaneous Operations) and shutdown activities.
- Coordinate multi-discipline construction management across project teams.
Planning & Execution
- Develop and maintain construction plans and progress tracking documentation.
- Manage ADNOC Permit to Work (PTW) and SIMOPS systems.
- Ensure adherence to ADNOC Offshore construction and HSE standards.
- Track and report construction schedules and milestones.
Stakeholder & Interface Management
- Manage interfaces between internal teams, clients, and contractors.
- Coordinate with ADNOC Offshore and other stakeholders.
- Maintain excellent communication and coordination across all project participants.
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and manage construction teams in offshore environments.
- Foster a strong safety-first culture across all operations.
- Make decisive, solution-oriented decisions under pressure.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and organizational discipline.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 15+ years of experience in Oil & Gas EPC projects.
- Proven offshore construction experience (mandatory).
- Demonstrated experience working on ADNOC Offshore brownfield projects.
- Strong background in offshore platform construction, live facility modifications, SIMOPS and shutdown execution, and multi-discipline construction management.
Skills & Competencies
- Deep understanding of offshore construction methodologies.
- Excellent knowledge of ADNOC Offshore construction and HSE standards.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong interface and stakeholder management capability.
- ADNOC PTW & SIMOPS systems.
- Primavera / MS Project (construction schedule awareness).
- MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic knowledge of SAP / Maximo (handover and asset integration).
- Strong safety-first mindset.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Able to work under pressure in offshore environments.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
