Role Purpose

Responsible for planning and scheduling materials required to execute the business. You will work with sales, commercial teams, region personnel, manufacturing, and supply chain to translate demand forecasts, sales orders, and planned orders across multiple time horizons into physical orders that meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Planning and Scheduling

• Plan and schedule material and production to ensure the shop has necessary materials, documentation, tooling, and equipment to meet required manufacturing and production levels.
• Provide effective scheduling and implementation of all programs based on the Master Schedule, cycle time, shop capacity, hardware and tooling availability, and status to schedules.
• Update project teams with delivery dates for open orders.

Material Management

• Coordinate material input and output.
• Manage material shortages and material for farm out.
• Maintain the integrity of the MRP system.

Supply Chain Execution

• Monitor supply and demand misalignment using the planning system.
• Collaborate with manufacturing sources to implement corrective action plans.
• Identify and react to material plans that do not meet customer requirements.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate the efforts of cross-functional groups to resolve bottlenecks, parts shortages, manpower issues, and shop capacity constraints.

Analysis and Measurement

• Analyze and measure current production status.
• Identify problem areas that inhibit full schedule realization.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
• 2–3 years of experience.
• Experience in production planning or supply chain.

Skills & Competencies

• Hands-on experience using ERP systems.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Project.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Tactical execution with a sense of urgency.
