Role Overview
Manager Special Projects & Performance โ MENA at Delivery Hero (Talabat). This role is based in the MENA region and reports to senior management on strategic initiatives and business performance.

Role Purpose
This role drives strategic projects and generates insights for the business by analyzing performance data, conducting deep-dive analyses across markets, launching new products, and managing financial performance in close partnership with senior management.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting Business Performance
- Analyze talabat's performance metrics to identify key trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare comprehensive and insightful reports for senior management highlighting key drivers of change and actionable insights.
- Communicate findings in a clear and concise manner, translating complex data into understandable recommendations for decision-makers.
Analytical Deep Dives
- Perform detailed country-specific analyses of different talabat markets focusing on identifying turnaround opportunities, growth and profitability areas.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to understand and address issues impacting business performance.
- Develop and recommend strategies based on analysis to improve overall performance and achieve business objectives.
Special Projects
- Develop business use cases with innovative ideas for new products.
- Bring new products to life by working on their implementation, ensuring they align with strategic goals and add value to the business.
PnL Management
- Collaborate with local teams to develop talabat's yearly budget, setting growth and profitability goals.
- Ensure budgets are adhered to consistently across the organization.
- Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to exceed financial targets and enhance overall profitability.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5โ7 years of experience in performance or strategy.
- Experience with financial modelling and PnL analysis strongly preferred.
- Experience using SQL, BigQuery, Looker, Tableau strongly preferred.
