Role Overview

Manager - SAP Application Operations at Qiddiya Investment Company. This vital role involves managing the operational integrity and performance of SAP applications, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives while delivering high availability and reliability to users.

Role Purpose

Lead SAP Application Operations to coordinate day-to-day operations, optimize processes, and implement best practices across the SAP landscape to meet the needs of the growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Support

• Lead the SAP Application Operations team, overseeing support processes, incident management, and service requests for SAP applications.
• Provide training and support for end-users to maximize the effectiveness of SAP applications.

Performance & Optimization

• Ensure optimal performance of SAP systems, managing system monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning.
• Monitor application performance metrics, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing application performance and user experience.

Governance & Compliance

• Implement and enforce application governance, ensuring compliance with operational standards, policies, and security measures.

System Management & Integration

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective application integration and functionality across business units.
• Coordinate and support system upgrades, patches, and enhancements to maintain system integrity and reliability.

Documentation & Knowledge

• Develop and maintain documentation of processes, workflows, and system configurations.
• Stay informed of SAP best practices, trends, and upgrades, evaluating their relevance to the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP application management or operations.
• Proven experience in incident management and service delivery processes.
• Certification in SAP Application Management is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of SAP applications, tools, and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning is a plus.
