Role Overview

Manager, Leasing at Majid Al Futtaim, MAF Properties Asset Management, based in Bahrain. The Leasing Manager is responsible for executing leasing operations and managing tenant relationships across a defined regional portfolio of malls, ensuring occupancy targets, revenue goals, and tenant satisfaction are met by driving timely lease transactions and proactive account management.

Role Purpose

Execute leasing operations across assigned retail assets, optimize occupancy and revenue performance, maintain strong tenant relationships, and drive strategic leasing decisions aligned with regional pricing guidelines and governance standards.

Key Responsibilities

Leasing Operations

• Manage leasing activities across assigned assets, including new leases, renewals, and replacements.
• Prepare and present proposals, rent justifications, and internal approval documentation.
• Negotiate lease terms in accordance with regional pricing guidelines and governance standards.
• Support anchor tenant negotiations and relationship development.
• Track KPIs including occupancy rate, rent yield, and lease maturity schedules.

Tenant & Stakeholder Management

• Maintain ongoing communication with tenants to address operational and commercial concerns.
• Ensure high tenant satisfaction through responsive servicing and coordination with mall operations.

Market & Performance Analysis

• Analyze market trends, category performance, and competitor benchmarks.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or any relevant field.
• 6–10 years of experience in leasing or property management, ideally within regional or multi-asset portfolios.
• Exposure to Bahrain or GCC retail markets.

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
