Role Overview
Manager, Industrial Consulting at JLL, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is part of the Strategic Consulting business line within JLL MEA's Industrial and Logistics Advisory services division.

Role Purpose
Lead industrial feasibility studies, business plan formulation and development strategies for large-scale industrial parks, free zones, industrial corridors and special economic zones across Middle East and Africa. Undertake demand assessment based on global industrial and logistics supply chain analysis to support client decision-making and project viability.
Key Responsibilities
Industrial Analysis & Strategy
- Undertake industrial feasibility studies and formulate realistic development strategies for large-scale industrial parks, free zones, industrial corridors and special economic zones.
- Identify industrial and warehousing opportunity sectors by utilizing global, national and regional datasets and understanding on-ground demand dynamics.
- Develop understanding of global industrial and logistics supply chains and value chains to undertake comprehensive demand assessment.
- Perform research based on global and regional industrial datasets for macro and micro-economic analysis, industrial growth forecasting and scenario-based demand assessment.
- Apply quantitative and qualitative analytical methods, including econometric forecasting techniques, to arrive at realistic demand projections.
Financial Assessment
- Undertake detailed industrial and logistics financial assessment to establish project viability.
- Perform post-tax financial modelling including preparation of balance sheets and P&L statements.
Market Research & Intelligence
- Undertake interactions and structured interviews with manufacturers, industrial operators and industrial infrastructure developers to gauge market dynamics.
- Utilize market inputs to formulate effective development strategies for clients.
- Collate data from primary and secondary market sources and analyze to generate meaningful reports and recommendations.
- Undertake on-ground market assessment and market studies.
Reporting & Delivery
- Produce clear, succinct write-ups for inclusion within industrial research reports and consulting assignments.
- Prepare business pitches, proposals and tenders for private and government clients.
Collaboration & Growth
- Work with team leaders to formulate effective strategies for clients and ensure successful project delivery.
- Contribute to successful execution of business development and marketing initiatives as needed.
Qualifications & Experience
- 4 to 5 years' professional experience preferred.
- Experience of having worked across industrial advisory studies covering feasibility and development strategy for industrial parks, economic and industrial corridors, Special Economic Zones, Free Zones, Airport or Port-led industrial zones, High-tech industrial, innovation and R&D clusters.
- Previous technical background in market research or financial analysis.
- Relevant Master's degree in real estate, finance, economics or business preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technology would be an added advantage.

- High proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Good report writing skills in MS Word.
- Ability to prepare succinct PowerPoint presentations.
- Excellent understanding of MS Excel and financial modelling.
- Familiarity with various statistical and economic models used for forecasting and analysis.
Analytical & Communication Skills
- Strong analytical background with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Strong report writing capabilities.
- Sound knowledge of financial modelling, preparation and delivery of presentations.
- Clear communicator with strong presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic preferred.
