Role Overview

Manager, HSE at KBR. This role manages and leads Health Safety and Environment initiatives and personnel, coordinating the delivery of HSE products and services to operations and shared services personnel in support of business acquisition and execution.

Role Purpose

To execute HSE processes that directly impact training, report writing, quality control, plan development and implementation, while incorporating health standards directed by regulatory agencies to prevent hazards and diseases from work sites.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Manage the delivery of functional objectives by providing leadership and direction to team members.
• Lead a related discipline or sub-group within a function, holding accountability for their performance and results.

Health, Safety & Environment Initiatives

• Manage and lead Health Safety and Environment initiatives and personnel.
• Incorporate health standards directed by regulatory agencies to prevent hazards and diseases from work sites.
• Execute processes directly impacting training, report writing, quality control, plan development and implementation.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Coordinate the delivery of HSE products and services to operations and shared services personnel.
• Interface and negotiate with regulatory bodies, clients and subcontractors.

Strategy & Process Development

• Participate in the development of functional strategy.
• Assume responsibility for global processes and procedures as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Completion of an undergraduate degree.
• 9 or more years of experience in a related field.
