Role Overview

Manager - Fulfillment at Majid Al Futtaim, Head Office UAE. The role manages day-to-day execution of e-commerce operations including picking, marshalling, dispatching, and last-mile delivery activities.

Role Purpose

Drive fulfillment operations efficiency and team performance while ensuring customer satisfaction through on-time delivery, product freshness, quality, and order fulfillment. Liaise with store teams to maintain high service standards across e-commerce operations.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

• Manage day-to-day e-commerce fulfillment operations, including picking, marshalling, dispatching, and last-mile delivery activities.
• Monitor operational KPIs, productivity, and picking rates.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure stock availability and dark store organization.

Team & Vendor Leadership

• Lead fulfillment teams and third-party logistics providers to ensure efficient and seamless operations.
• Plan and allocate operational resources, including vehicles, drivers, and workforce, to meet business demands.

Quality & Compliance

• Oversee delivery accuracy and quality control processes.
• Ensure proper packing standards and cold chain compliance.
• Manage customer service operations, returns, and cash handling processes.
• Ensure on-time order fulfillment.

Coordination & Governance

• Coordinate effectively between operations, commercial, and IT teams.
• Control operational budgets and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in E-Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in supply chain, e-commerce fulfillment, logistics, or last-mile operations.
• Strong leadership experience managing fulfillment teams and third-party logistics providers.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Advanced Excel.
• Proficiency in SAP, Salesforce, and warehouse management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
