Manager - Data Modeling CDUP2086

Role Overview

Manager - Data Modeling (CDUP2086) with Qiddiya Investment Company. This is a senior expert role focused on the design and implementation of data models that centralize information across the CDU team.

Role Purpose

Design, enhance, and implement comprehensive data models that consolidate cost, time, risk, metadata, and other data sources across Qiddiya's development division. Expand the existing Power BI model's capabilities, accessibility, and analytical scope to meet evolving business needs while managing a specialized technical team.

Key Responsibilities

Data Modeling & Strategy

• Enhance the existing data model strategy to cover all development analysis and reporting requirements.
• Take the existing Power BI model and enhance its capabilities, accessibility, and scope of analysis to meet the needs of the Qiddiya development division.

Team Management

• Manage the data modeling team, consisting of an AI modeling expert, LLM modeling expert, and a database technician.
• Assign team members tasks that achieve desired outcomes.
• Assess individual and team performance to optimize efficiency.
• Support individuals with a variety of technical experience to encourage growth and development.

Stakeholder & Data Governance

• Ensure clear requirements are provided to data owners so they understand how their data is tagged for incorporation into models.
• Work with the Data Office to ensure all data and reports are properly governed.
• Effectively liaise with individuals at a variety of experience and authority levels.
• Communicate how technical solutions solve business problems.

Leadership & Organizational Management

• Advise the Data Modeling and Performance & Analytics Director of best practices and possible enhancements to solutions.
• Work within the established organizational structure to effectively deliver defined outcomes.
• Help manage messaging within Qiddiya to ensure Implementation is providing a trusted service.
• Maintain communication and update senior team members on progress.

Collaboration

• Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility and providing support.
• Communicate and collaborate with other team members, adjacent teams, and external partners such as consultants.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree educated in information services and/or data analytics.
• Established experience of working as part of an owner's team on solutions for large and complex organizations.
• Implementation of software solutions into established working environments.
• Experience with the integration of existing software packages.
• Development of workflow and automated processes to enhance data capturing routines.

• Fluency in Microsoft Office.
