Manager Accounting

Role Overview

Manager Accounting at Esports Foundation in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Full-time position reporting to the Director Finance, with one direct report.

Role Purpose

Oversee the accounting department and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Manage accounting operations, financial analysis, and compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Operations

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Manage accounting systems and software.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports for management and stakeholders.
• Provide financial analysis and support for decision-making.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations IFRS.
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and manage external audits.

Staffing & Development

• Manage accounting staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.

Process Improvement

• Develop and implement cost-saving measures and process improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent; master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in accounting.
• 2 years in a managerial role.
• Prior experience working in Saudi Arabia and understanding of local nuances.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience in financial reporting and analysis.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in accounting software and systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Fluent in written and verbal English and Arabic.
