Maintenance/Shift Engineer

Role Overview

Maintenance/Shift Engineer at Hilton. This role supports the physical safety and functionality of hotel properties during assigned shifts.

Role Purpose

Maintain hotel facility operations and guest safety by performing repairs, responding to service requests, conducting preventive maintenance inspections, and documenting all maintenance activities across guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Maintenance

• Assist in maintaining the physical functionality and safety of the property, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas.
• Support a variety of maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and masonry.

Service Response

• Respond quickly to guest calls and team member work orders.

Preventive Maintenance

• Conduct facility and equipment inspections to identify and address preventive maintenance needs.

Documentation

• Document completed inspections and repairs.
• Flag issues requiring further attention.
