Machine Operator

Role Overview

Machine Operator at Prysmian Group. As part of the production team, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of machines to produce output as per daily orders and specifications.

Role Purpose

To operate machines safely and efficiently, producing output that meets daily orders and quality standards while maintaining equipment integrity and communicating operational issues to supervisors.

Key Responsibilities

Daily Operations

• Attend daily meetings with the supervisor for task allocation.
• Operate machines as per standardized procedures.
• Produce output according to daily orders and machine specifications.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.

Equipment Management

• Inspect machines on a daily basis to check the specifics of raw materials.
• Update machine faults in the MES system if any occur.
• Communicate with supervisors if the machine needs maintenance.

Order and Specification Management

• Check the mandate to ensure orders are as per specifications in the machine.

Qualifications & Experience

• Secondary education.
• 1–2 years of experience operating copper taping machines.
• Understanding of cable manufacturing is preferred.
