Role Purpose

Supervise logistics operations to ensure department goals and objectives are met, managing procedures for general and project cargo vessels while coordinating with internal teams, forwarders, customs, and government entities to deliver materials to site on time.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics Operations

• Manage logistics procedures for general and project cargo vessels.
• Assist with operational management and handling of breakbulk, project, and general cargo.
• Manage and ensure materials are delivered to site on time without delay.

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Manage the selection process of logistics forwarders.
• Manage and expedite vendor production schedules to ensure timely material readiness.

Coordination & Control

• Control and coordinate with forwarders, logistics partners, customs, and government entities as required.

Planning & Analysis

• Conduct basic study of route survey and study.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields.
• 5+ years of logistics experience.
• Significant knowledge of logistics.
• Experience in Oil, Gas, Petrochemical, or Power Plants.
• Engineering and Construction Company working experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Expertise in breakbulk and project cargo handling.
• Expertise in breakbulk vessel chartering operations.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Ability to review logistics documents.
• Ability to control and coordinate with forwarders, logistics partners, customs, and government entities.
• Familiarity with various logistics systems, especially those used by EPC Companies.
• Experience working in logistics for plant construction.

Additional Information
