Logistics Coordinator

Role Overview

Logistics Coordinator at Sunreef Yachts. This role manages and coordinates all logistics activities related to yacht operations, including procurement, shipping, inventory control, and delivery of materials, spare parts, and equipment.

Role Purpose

Ensure timely and cost-effective logistics support to yacht construction, maintenance, and operational needs through coordinated procurement, shipping, inventory management, and supplier liaison.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Shipping

• Coordinate the procurement and delivery of yacht parts, materials, and equipment.
• Manage local and international shipments via air, sea, and land freight.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal departments.

Documentation & Compliance

• Ensure proper documentation for imports and exports, including customs clearance.
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records and prepare logistics reports.

Shipment & Issue Management

• Track shipments and resolve delays or issues proactively.

Inventory & Materials Management

• Maintain inventory records and monitor stock levels for critical spare parts.
• Support yacht builds and refit projects by ensuring timely availability of materials.

Cost Optimization

• Optimize logistics costs and improve supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in logistics, preferably in marine, yacht, or shipbuilding industry.
• Strong knowledge of shipping procedures, customs regulations, and documentation.
• Experience working with international suppliers and freight forwarders.
• Knowledge of marine parts and yacht operations is an advantage.
