Role Overview
Lifting Supervisor for Archirodon Group N.V, an international Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractor. The role is based in the Oil & Gas sector and requires ADNOC approval.

Role Purpose
Oversee and manage all lifting operations on-site, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency in line with ADNOC standards and project requirements while leading lifting personnel and coordinating with broader construction activities.
Key Responsibilities
Safety Compliance
- Ensure lifting operations are conducted in full compliance with health and safety regulations, including ADNOC standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures to prevent accidents or incidents.
- Document any lifting incidents or near-misses and conduct investigations as necessary.
- Develop corrective actions and revise safety protocols accordingly.
Operations Management
- Oversee lifting operations on-site, ensuring they are performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, local laws, and international standards.
- Monitor the condition and maintenance of lifting equipment such as cranes, hoists, and slings.
- Ensure all machinery is fit for use, properly inspected, and serviced according to schedules.
- Develop, review, and implement detailed lifting plans, including assessment of load weights, equipment requirements, and rigging configurations.
- Ensure all lifting plans are approved before execution.
Team Supervision
- Lead and supervise a team of riggers, crane operators, and other lifting personnel.
- Provide training and guidance on lifting procedures, safety protocols, and proper use of equipment.
Coordination and Communication
- Coordinate lifting operations with other construction activities to minimize disruptions and ensure timely project delivery.
- Liaise with site managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth and efficient lifting operations.
- Provide regular reports to the project manager on the status of lifting operations, highlighting concerns, risks, or delays.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with the site team and stakeholders.
Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure that all required lifting documentation, including inspection records, permits, and licenses, are completed and maintained in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 5+ years experience in Oil & Gas projects.
- Proven experience working inside ADNOC facilities with PTW system exposure.
- ADNOC-approved Lifting Supervisor certification (added advantage).
