Role Overview
Lifting Engineer with KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS), based in KSA, responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing complex lifting operations across the asset lifecycle.

Role Purpose
To develop and execute detailed lifting plans, select appropriate lifting equipment, coordinate rigging crews, and ensure all lifting operations are conducted safely and in compliance with contract terms and conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Lifting Plans & Operations
- Develop detailed lifting plans for cranes, hoists, winches, and specialized lifting gear.
- Choose suitable lifting equipment including slings, shackles, spreader beams, and cranes based on load, geometry, and environment.
- Coordinate and manage contractors' heavy equipment.
- Oversee rigging crews during complex or critical lifts.
Safety & Training
- Lead toolbox talks and lifting safety briefings.
- Ensure personnel have the skills, training, and all needed resources, equipment, and tools to conduct routine maintenance activities in a safe and effective manner, according to contract terms and conditions.
- Demonstrate proactive safety aptitude and behavior.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance with Diploma qualification, or minimum 3 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance with Degree qualification.
- Third-party certified lifting and rigging qualification.
- Strong technical understanding of maintenance management of Oil & Gas Facilities.
