Role Overview
Licensed Station Engineer - London Heathrow with Etihad Airways. This is a front-line technical support position based at London Heathrow (LHR), part of Etihad's expanding Line Maintenance International (LMI) function.

Role Purpose
The Station Engineer LMI is responsible for certifying and carrying out aircraft maintenance activities in compliance with all applicable standards and approved technical data, optimizing aircraft serviceability and supporting operational schedules.
Key Responsibilities
Safety & Quality
- Ensure that aircraft effectivity is correctly established and that the latest revision of approved maintenance data is referenced prior to use.
- Perform maintenance activities in compliance with company requirements, health and safety standards, and applicable airport procedures and regulations.
Cost Management
- Maintain awareness of the Line Maintenance International expenditure budget.
- Ensure cost-effective utilization of manpower, time, and materials.
Service
- Establish and effectively maintain aircraft exterior and interior cabin standards in line with the expectations of a leading world-class airline.
Operational Performance
- Maintain awareness of On-Time Performance (OTP) targets set by the VPTO.
- Ensure the safety of operations by maintaining the airworthiness of assigned aircraft to the highest standards.
Innovation
- Utilize the latest technologies to support effective and efficient solutions.
Strategy
- Maintain full awareness of Etihad OGSM and the Line and Cabin Maintenance operational strategy.
Staff Performance
- Ensure that competency, capability, development, and training requirements are appropriately actioned and maintained.
- Utilize i-Achieve, CPM, i-Learn, Etihad Policies and Procedures, and other appropriate tools effectively and timely.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Leaving Certificate or university/college qualification.
- GCAA license or license convertible to GCAA License (essential).
- Authorization on two Etihad aircraft types at Level 3 (essential).
- Minimum of 10 years of aircraft maintenance experience (essential).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience within a Line Maintenance environment (essential).
