Lead Planning Engineer

Role Overview

Lead Planning Engineer with Ejov on a major Buildings and Infrastructure project.

Role Purpose

Develop and implement efficient planning functions, generate performance reports, and support project management teams to ensure adherence to schedules, standards, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Scheduling

• Develop and implement efficient Planning Functions, including Work Breakdown Structure, Master schedule review, Manpower Histograms, and Cost loading.
• Generate tabular and graphic reports for baseline targets, actual earned values, and forecasting.
• Establish Progress Measurement System and coordination protocols.

Project Monitoring & Reporting

• Produce project status reports and manage project dashboards.
• Monitor performance to ensure adherence to standards and procedures.

Analysis & Improvement

• Review Time Extension Claims and conduct Forensic analysis of schedules.
• Perform Risk analysis and develop Continuous improvement strategies.
• Liaise with Project Management to support teams.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in planning and project control.
• Project Control experience to ensure key project deliverables.
• MMUP accreditation.
• Strong working knowledge of Primavera; Certification as a Primavera Planner Professional is required.
• Competencies in PMBOK Revision 5; PMI registration will be well regarded.
• Knowledge of PMBOK Revision 6 is appreciated.
