Role Purpose

Design, specify, and deliver civil and structural engineering services across transportation, water, and infrastructure systems. Provide technical leadership and expert guidance to engineering teams while independently solving complex engineering problems and representing the organization in external negotiations and conferences.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Engineering Services

• Conduct studies and design of transportation systems including roads, rail, airports, and seaports.
• Design bridges, tunnels, and underground utilities.
• Develop drainage, hydrology, and hydraulics solutions.
• Specify water treatment and distribution systems.
• Design wastewater collection and treatment facilities.
• Develop water resources and raw water supply solutions.
• Execute geotechnical design and other civil engineering works.
• Apply advanced engineering techniques independently.

Technical Leadership & Guidance

• Provide technical guidance to designers and less experienced engineers.
• Serve as a technical consultant to associates with high reliance placed on scientific interpretations and advice.

Organizational Representation

• Represent the organization at conferences to resolve important engineering questions.
• Negotiate with key engineers and officials of other organizations.

Management

• Manage an assigned staff.
• Own responsibility for an assigned budget.

Qualifications & Experience

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of related civil engineering experience.
• Average experience range of 10+ years.

• Holds measurable responsibility for assigned staff and budget.
