Role Purpose

Oversee all laundry operations, team management, inventory control, health and safety compliance, and supplier relationships to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and hospitality across the resort.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Maintenance

• Ensure that the laundry and team member areas are properly cleaned at all times.
• Ensure par levels of linen, towels, and uniforms are current and in line with inventory.
• Initiate measures to minimize all wastage of materials and amenities used in the department.
• Control overtime through good management and immediate response to problems.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all health and safety requirements are adhered to, including the use of chemicals.
• Ensure that all staff are aware of and follow departmental SOPs and LSOPs.

Team Leadership & Development

• Coach and guide new members of the team, putting in place proper orientation training and ongoing training and development.
• Develop and maintain a motivational working environment within the department and positive relations with other departments.

Inventory & Records

• Ensure records are maintained for linen inventory, uniforms, and other items as applicable.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management

• Assist in managing relationships with suppliers.
• Ensure VIP requirements are met.

Special Projects

• Attend and support Task Force Missions required to support the opening of new Minor Hotels and other MINT properties, and other special events catered by Minor International.
