Role Purpose
Support the smooth operation of the Housekeeping Department by ensuring that hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry are cleaned, processed, and presented according to the standards of NH Collection Dubai The Palm.
Key Responsibilities
Laundry Processing
- Sort, wash, dry, press, fold, and prepare hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry.
- Inspect items for stains, damage, or special cleaning requirements.
- Ensure guest laundry is processed accurately and returned within the required timeframe.
- Maintain proper care and handling of hotel linen and uniforms to minimize damage and wastage.
Equipment & Safety
- Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and according to established procedures.
- Handle detergents and chemicals safely and according to health and safety procedures.
- Report equipment faults, damaged linen, or other concerns to the Laundry Supervisor.
Facilities & Standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment.
- Follow hotel hygiene, safety, environmental, and brand standards.
Team Support
- Support the Housekeeping team as required to ensure efficient daily operations.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous laundry experience in a hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of laundry equipment, fabrics, detergents, and stain removal.
Skills & Competencies
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
