Role Overview
KSA Technician Trainee Programme (Power) is a 12-month fixed term contract with Aggreko, based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The programme is designed to launch your career as a technician with experience across Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.

Role Purpose
As a Technician Trainee, you will become familiar with the mechanical and electrical systems found in generators and other power equipment. You will gain foundational technical knowledge, hands-on experience, and essential housekeeping and health and safety practices to start your career as a technician in the Saudi Arabian business.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Competency Development
- Recognize key equipment and components in generators and power equipment.
- Understand maintenance and repair procedures.
- Master essential housekeeping and health and safety practices.
- Develop competency in mechanical and electrical tasks through comprehensive foundational training.
Practical Experience
- Gain hands-on experience primarily at the Aggreko depot in Riyadh.
- Visit customer sites across Saudi Arabia to apply learning in real-world environments.
- Work with power generators and related equipment.
Qualifications & Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent with strong aptitude for technical subjects such as math, science, and physics.
- OR College Diploma or Vocational Certificate in mechanical or electrical engineering or related technical field.
- Passionate about mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Business-level English.
- Saudi national (programme is designed specifically for Saudi nationals to comply with national labour laws and applicable legislation in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).

- Strong technical aptitude.
- Willingness to learn across a variety of environments and roles.
