Kitchen Helper

Role Overview

Kitchen Helper at TGP International. This is an entry-level position in a professional kitchen environment within a growing restaurant concept.

Role Purpose

Support the kitchen team with food preparation, ingredient handling, and maintenance of kitchen facilities and equipment during daily operations and busy service periods.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation

• Assist kitchen team with basic food preparation and ingredient handling
• Wash, peel, chop, and portion ingredients as directed by senior staff

Cleaning & Maintenance

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen, work surfaces, and equipment
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils and ensure they are properly stored
• Take out waste and maintain hygiene in disposal areas

Service Support

• Support the team during busy service periods as needed

Qualifications & Experience

• One year experience required
• Basic understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, hygiene, and customer service standards

Skills & Competencies

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods
• Good communication skills in English
• Reliable and punctual
• Team-oriented
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under supervision
