Key Logistics Manager

Role Overview

Key Logistics Manager at Airbus Defense and Space, Airbus Helicopters Arabia for Aircraft Maintenance. Fixed-term position.

Role Purpose

Manage physical logistics activities, logistics provider contracts, and compliance obligations to deliver integrated end-to-end logistics solutions that meet performance, cost, quality, and safety standards across aircraft maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities

Physical Logistics Management

• Ensure physical logistics management performance and improvement control.
• Implement and control KPIs across performance, cost, quality, and environment.
• Ensure application of Airbus Logistics solutions, processes, rules, and policies in physical logistics activities.
• Drive issue solving with a quick and simple alert and escalation process.
• Propose and drive local, non-disruptive, short-term improvement initiatives and share experience and practices via the Logistics service managers network.
• Contribute to End-to-End Logistics Solutions optimization and surface optimization.
• Secure that standard distribution means are in the right quality and quantity.
• Contribute to infrastructure evolution and surface management.
• Assess logistics impacts in case of short and medium-term planning changes.

Logistics Provider Contract Compliance

• Ensure right contract application by the provider and by Airbus.
• Monitor budget respect and drive savings.
• Create, challenge, validate operational scope change requests, work specifications, ad-hoc service requests, and claims.
• Contribute to scope change requests within a project.
• Perform technical negotiation on unit prices, volumes, and forecasts.

Contract Management

• Ensure and facilitate harmonized and agile contract governance to deliver services on time, on quality, and on cost.
• Develop and deploy ways of working and training to support operations in contract management.
• Calculate and monitor logistics budget in interface with Finance.
• Support procurement and operations on contract mechanism implementation and monitoring.

Stakeholder Alignment

• Implement and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal stakeholders.
• Anticipate, understand, and challenge internal stakeholders' requests and ensure implementation of changes.

Risk Management

• Ensure risk management with internal stakeholders and Logistics Provider.
• Perform root cause analysis and manage mitigation plans.

Compliance & Safety

• Hold accountability for all topics related to Airworthiness Authorities, Quality, Environment, Health and Safety, and Dangerous Goods with regard to logistics business execution.
• Contribute to corporate audits and industrial maturity.
• Plan, prepare, and run audits in collaboration with quality and implement actions to close findings.
