Role Purpose
As a Junior Sous Chef, you will lead daily kitchen operations while spreading the light and warmth of hospitality. You will provide hands-on culinary leadership, manage production and service, develop menu offerings, and foster collaboration across departments to ensure seamless operations and memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Culinary Leadership
- Provide hands-on leadership and in-the-moment coaching to kitchen staff across Food & Beverage outlets.
- Lead the culinary team with focus on operational excellence.
Production & Service Management
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including creating and monitoring production lists.
- Complete line checks and manage service execution.
- Oversee kitchen operations for Food & Beverage outlets.
Menu Development
- Develop and implement seasonal menus.
- Create promotional features and daily specials.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Foster strong, positive relationships between Front of House and Back of House teams.
- Promote cross-department collaboration to ensure seamless operations.
Administrative Support
- Assist with stock take management.
- Manage ordering processes.
- Support scheduling activities.
