Junior Maintenance Engineer

Role Overview

Leminar Air Conditioning Industries LLC, part of Al Shirawi Group, is seeking a Junior Maintenance Engineer to join the Production team in a factory setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.

Role Purpose

The Junior Maintenance Engineer supports the maintenance and repair of the factory's electrical and electronic equipment, working closely with the Maintenance team to troubleshoot technical issues, implement preventive maintenance strategies, and ensure efficient and safe production operations.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repair

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of electrical and electronic systems in the factory.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify potential problems.

Operations & Safety

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance team to develop and implement efficient maintenance strategies.

Documentation & Reporting

• Document maintenance activities, creating detailed reports and records.

Technical Support & Development

• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
• Assist in training and mentoring less experienced team members.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrical and electronic engineering.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Work experience in a similar maintenance role, preferably in a factory setting.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and control systems.
• Familiarity with electronic components and troubleshooting techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
• Basic knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming is preferred.
• Proactive and safety-conscious approach to work.
