Role Purpose

Design, develop, and maintain complex airline application software following client standards using advanced technology. Deliver high-performance server applications, resolve technical issues, and collaborate across distributed teams to ensure software quality and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Development & Coding

• Design, develop, code, and maintain complex airline application software following client standards using advanced technology.
• Develop, code, test, and debug new complex software solutions or enhancements to existing software in a maintenance capacity under general direction.
• Write software targeted for high performance server applications.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Perform technical impact analysis, coding, and unit testing.
• Participate with the development team to demonstrate software to stakeholders.

Problem Resolution & Support

• Work with technical staff in different locations to understand problems with software and resolve them.
• Resolve customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
• Research and resolve production issues according to team SOP and guidelines.
• Provide assistance to other team members in areas of technical and functional expertise.

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with team lead on workload and assignments.
• Provide regular status of each assigned issue and escalate as necessary.
• Assist in the development of software technical documentation.

Professional Development

• Learn and become acquainted with the latest technologies in the market that serve the client's development purposes on a continuous basis.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science specialized in programming.
• 5 years of experience as a programmer using latest technologies.
• Aviation or airline projects experience is an added advantage.
• PSS experience is preferred.
