Role Purpose
Provide technical support and maintain the hotel's information systems, hardware, software, and network infrastructure to ensure seamless operations for both guests and team members. The IT Technician supports hotel technology platforms and assists in maintaining compliance with Minor Hotels' IT standards and security requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitor network connectivity and ensure reliable operation of hotel technology services.
Equipment & Infrastructure
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and other IT equipment.
- Support hotel applications and systems including PMS, POS, guest Wi-Fi, IPTV, key card systems, and telephony solutions.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and ensure accurate documentation of equipment and licenses.
System Maintenance & Security
- Perform routine system maintenance, software installations, updates, and security patches.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security standards, and data protection requirements.
User & Access Management
- Create and manage user accounts, access rights, and email accounts.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes by preparing and recovering IT equipment and system access.
Vendor & Project Coordination
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for maintenance and technical support requirements.
- Assist with IT projects and technology improvements as assigned.
